There is hardly anything more unappealing than bad breath. It happens to us all and it tends to happen at the most inopportune times. On a first date, before a dentist appointment, or while visiting your in-laws. Even with the most perfect of dental practices with regards to your oral hygiene, you can still get bad breath. Whether it was that French onion soup you had for lunch or that tasty roasted garlic hummus, bad breath can strike at any time and when it does you should be prepared! Which Gum Flavors Are Best At Freshening Breath? So, bad breath strikes and leaves you feeling embarrassed and vulnerable. What do you do? The answer is simple: chew gum, of course. But with so many selections of gum flavors on the shelves how do you know which one to pick? Does one work better than another at covering up bad breath? The answer here is yes. There are three gum flavors that are said to be the most effective at hiding bad breath. Can you guess what they are?
The strong odor of cinnamon is highly effective at hiding unpleasant breath. So, if you are really feeling like your breath could knock a cowboy off of his horse, reach for a pack of cinnamon first. The sweet, coolness of mint also does a good job at hiding putrid breath. So, if you feel like things are only kind of stinky, maybe go for a spearmint or winter mint gum. Lastly, there are citrus flavored gums. Though still effective at disguising the odor of bad breath, they are not the most effective. They are, however, delicious. So, if your bad breath is not quite deadly, but you still would like a refreshing burst of flavor in your mouth, go with a citrus flavored gum.
